How can I find out what sentence was passed?
The judge may sentence immediately but sometimes they will ask for the National Probation Service to prepare pre-sentence reports, so it may be several weeks before a judge can decide on what sentence is given. If you want to know the outcome of a case, you can contact the court the day after the case was fixed for sentence.
