Message from the Board Chair - Denise White, Chief Officer of Derbyshire Probation Area
"Since Derbyshire Criminal Justice Board came into existence in April 2003, it has driven a tremendous programme of change throughout all of the criminal justice agencies in Derbyshire. Although it does not 'control' the individual agencies, by forming strong relationships and developing an understanding of each other's strengths, assets and constraints, the Board has built a highly effective criminal justice system in Derbyshire.
"We are here to create a modern and efficient justice system for the people who live and work in Derbyshire and we want you to know what work we have been doing on your behalf. There is still plenty of work ahead of us and the Board is committed to achieving the challenging targets that have been set for the forthcoming year."
