Where can I find help and support for victims of sexual offending?

Sexual Assault Referral Centres (SARCs)

Sexual Assault Referral Centres (SARCs) are listed on the met website. SARCs offer a comprehensive service with on-going treatment, advice, counselling and follow up specialist and forensically trained doctors and nurses. It aims to provide a one-stop-shop service to victims of rape.

Family Matters

Helpline and counselling for anyone 6 years and up (including adults) who have been victims of childhood sexual abuse.

Lifeline

Charity providing support and advice for Help for victims of violence in the home, sexual abuse and incest. Tel 01262 469 085.

Respond

Helpline and other support services for people with learning difficulties who are victims of sexual abuse and other trauma.

Survivors UK

UK organisation which helps male survivors of sexual abuse and rape by providing a telephone helpline, 1:1 counselling and group counselling.
